The first Peruvian bar in Barcelona
Located under the Palosanto tavern, Kokka is the first Peruvian bar in Barcelona. Kokka combines healthy cuisine, a marked influence of traditional Peruvian cuisine, hints of modern cuisine and the best of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. With a capacity to seat 25 people, the bar is divided into two areas: the bar where you can watch the chefs as they work, and the more intimate area with cast iron tables and sofas.
The menu consists of a wide variety of traditional dishes cooked with a new and personal approach. Most noteworthy are the oyster appetiser with tiger's milk and maracuya, "la Causa", a traditional Peruvian dish of pre-Colombian origins, the ceviches, the Pisco Sour in two layers and the green tea or chocolate Mochi. The Kokka drinks menu includes the legendary Piscosour (made with Pisco or Sake) combined with lime, shiso, maracuya or chicha.
