Following its philosophy, Derby Hotels Collection supports the art and culture in any of its aspects. In this occasion the company collaborates with the First Video Clip Competition organized by the local indie music festival “Pròxims” and that will take place in Barcelona, Begur and Porta Ferrada during the month of July, where the actuations of local bands like Mishima, The New Raemon, Maika Makovski, Joan Colomo, Manos de Topo, Antonia Font, Mazoni and others will take place.
The idea and commitment of the festival is to bring the music to every corner of Catalonia and become the first itinerant homemade music festival of indie-pop-folk. For this reason the festival launched the First Clips Competition together with Barcelona – Catalunya Film Commission, the Tourism Board of the Costa Brava and Barcelona Tourism.
The participants will have to submit a video of any place in Catalonia where the main subject will be to show the values of the town as an ideal destination to enjoy the summer, friends, food, music and landscape. These are the main concepts that the festival collects.
Are you an artist with the camera? Cinema is your passion? To participate you will only have to incorporate to your video a song of a group La iaia “Declaration of Principles”.
