This weekend Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th, Greenwich in London will be hosting a lively pop-up Vintage Fair at Cutty Sark Gardens with music and stalls selling a plethora of vintage goods and food.

Head to Greenwich to find more odds and ends than you could fit into twenty chunky vintage suitcases. There will be clothes, accessories, collectables, furniture, home wares and music – with a dedicated record section and a mini record fair. Enough to keep all you cardigan-wearing, loafer-loving folk happy!

Greenwich, south of the river Thames, is one of the most beautiful boroughs or neighbourhoods in London and tens of thousands of people flock there every week to visit. The Vintage Fair will be taking place at its gorgeous riverside plaza Cutty Sark Gardens, home to the iconic ship of the same name, the Cutty Sark.

The Cutty Sark was the fastest and most cherished sailing ship of her time, and after enjoying a magnificent restoration in 2012, it was hoisted more than 3 metres in to the air for everyone to admire. At this year’s Vintage Fair you can fall in love with flower-print dresses, unearth forgotten records and skip around to the sounds of Swing beneath this glorious piece of British history.

If rummaging through the market’s treasures makes you a bit peckish you can stop by one of several vintage vehicles parked around the Gardens, like the charming sidecar above, which serve tasty street food from around the world. You can also pay a visit to the fully-licensed bar where you’ll find a torrent of thirst-quenching cocktails waiting for you.

The Vintage Fair will be a weekend of up-beat entertainment with live music and street performances from the likes of Mouthful Of Jam and Count Sizzle & Friends, purveyors of vintage music from the 1920s to the 1970s. And, if you’re the adventurous type who likes to get stuck in, there are Swing Dance classes put on throughout the weekend by groups like London Swing Dance. These classes are aimed at dancers of any skill range or experience so you have to get involved.
