Passeig de Gràcia will celebrate Passeig de Gourmets’ sixth edition. This year, the prestigious gastronomic festival will take place from the 9th to the 19th of March. A total of 21 participants will get together to showcase their talent as chefs and offer food lovers another way of experiencing the most cosmopolitan street in the city.
This time, themed dinners and Signature sandwiches will join the traditional activities such as the dish route, gourmet menus and gastronomy experiences. These two new proposals will make this event an even better experience to share with family and friends.
PASSEIG DE GOURMETS: OUR PROPOSALS
Like every year, Claris Hotel & Spa 5* GL joins this gourmet event with proposals at La Terraza del Claris, as well as in the recently opened Os-Kuro, a new culinary project that will bring the best of Asia to the heart of Barcelona. Would you like to know all of our gastronomic proposals?
If you are looking for an authentic gourmet experience, La Terraza del Claris offers a menu that combines the essence of seasonal cuisine with quality products. The Passeig de Gourmets menu includes an appetiser; cream of portobello mushroom and mascarpone with scallops, beetroot, caviar and leek ash; Mediterranean black cod curry, deer sirloin with Jerusalem artichoke and apple terrine; and for dessert, a Tarte Tatin with sour apple foam.
The price of the menu is 55€, including either an Estrella Damm beer or a glass of cava or Royal Bliss. If you want to make your experience even more comprehensive and special, you can choose the menu with an exclusive cava pairing for 70€. This menu will be available every day of the festival, at midday and night.
This Passeig de Gourmets’ new proposal was designed for those who have little time but are famished. Enjoy a delicious soft shell crab sandwich with tamarind sauce, papaya and pickled onions at La Terraza del Claris, for just 9€. This dish comes with a choice of drink, either an Estrella Damm beer, a glass of cava or a coke.
This event does not require any previous reservation and is available every day from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm.
Traditional Japanese dish
Furthermore, in the os-kuro restaurant, you will find our special contribution to the Dish Route, in an atmosphere where the light and shadows play with the name os-kuro, which in Japanese stands for 黒 (KURO) meaning “black”.
Our delicious Anchovy Tsukemono (oriental-style pickled vegetables) has been specially created for Passeig de Gourmets. You will be able to try it every day of the festival between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. It costs 10€ and includes an Estrella Damm beer, a glass of cava or a coke. Grab a map and create your route!
On Saturday 11th and 18th March at 5:00 pm, os-kuro will offer a sake tasting. During this event, you will learn interesting facts about this popular Japanese drink, and taste various types of sake.
