We take hygiene and cleanliness standards very seriously and are implementing additional measures to ensure the safety of all our guests, employees, and suppliers. Our hotels' health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and range from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to cleaning procedures for rooms, common areas, and internal and storage areas.
These are the main actions we are taking to ensure the safety of our guests, employees, and suppliers:
INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION
All our establishments are endorsed by the Safety and Hygiene Certification carried out by the prestigious international company Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), through strict periodic audits to maintain the most advanced cleaning and hygiene processes.
Laundry service
We use the only laundry network in Spain certified according to the UNE-EN 14065 standard, which guarantees compliance with the most demanding conditions, from the collection of used linen to the delivery of clean linen. In our London and Paris hotels, the laundries are fully committed to the guidelines outlined by the UK Textile Services Association (TSA), the VisitBritain Tourism Authority (BTA), and the protocols established by the French Government, respectively.
staff training
All our staff have received and continue to receive specific training on Health and Safety Protocols, tailored to each position. This training has been coordinated by the renowned health auditing firm SAIA.
disinfection of rooms after each departure
Using LB-UVC-1 disinfectant germicidal lamps with an emitted wavelength of 254nm, the most effective for disinfecting by attacking microorganisms such as germs, viruses, and dust mites. These treatments comply with European Directives EN55014, EN61000 and EN60335 on electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage, and Directives RoHS 2011/65EU and RoHS 2015/863 on the restriction of hazardous substances.
catering and food safety
We have adapted all catering services at our hotels, including breakfast, restaurants, bars, room service, and event catering. All our suppliers have been certified for health, and we follow the strictest safety protocols during delivery processes, minimizing product handling and human contact. Restaurants and room service follow strict safety protocols and only offer à la carte products.
work organization
The safety of our customers and employees comes first, and that's why we've increased distance between workstations, reinforced hand hygiene and mask use, and implemented a highly stringent cleaning protocol, using specific antibacterial products, biocides, and UV rays to ensure maximum disinfection in our properties.
our suppliers
All our suppliers and their drivers are protected with the appropriate PPE. We also ensure that the trucks and the transported materials are disinfected after each trip. This way, we can guarantee that they will arrive in the best possible condition on their next trip.
international medical assistance
Through an exclusive agreement with the prestigious company International Medical Services, we guarantee 24-hour medical assistance with multilingual doctors at our hotels in Barcelona and Madrid. If necessary, medicalized ambulances and preferential care at our reference hospitals are available, charged to the patient's medical insurance. This service is not valid for Spanish clients already covered by the national public health network or their own private insurance company.
