Christmas at the Urban: haute cuisine and art in a hotel connected to the city

During this festive season, locals and visitors alike can enjoy menus created exclusively by Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo, chefs of CEBO: a memorable culinary experience to enjoy two of the most special nights of the year.

The Christmas Dinner begins with a welcome glass of Taittinger Champagne. Among the dishes, highlights include Homage to Joselito Ham, a CEBO classic; Amelie Oyster and Galician Cockle and Mediterranean Scarlet Prawn, prepared with lard; and for the main courses, Stuffed Wild Sea Bass and Matured Picanha, a selection of freeze-dried meats, paired with Café de Paris. To finish, a delicious single-origin cocoa and an assortment of Christmas sweets. Dinner will be paired with Pomal Blanco Reserva, D.O.Ca Rioja; Vicalanda Viñas Viejas, D.O.Ca Rioja; and Taittinger, A.O.C. Champagne.

And the last dinner of the year begins with a welcome glass of Taittinger. Starters include a tribute to Joselito ham, Amelie oyster, and razor clams. Main courses include elvers from the Miño River, Mediterranean scarlet prawns, black grouper, and Vilalba capon. The sweet touch is provided by a rum-soaked sponge cake and an assortment of Christmas sweets. Dinner will be paired with Can Matons Sant Fost, D.O. Alella; Scala Dei Cartoixa, D.O.Ca Priorat; and Taittinger, A.O.C. Champagne.

And to end the evening, you can enjoy the cocktails at the Glass Bar, the perfect place to toast and celebrate the arrival of the new year.

The Hotel Urban has also designed a special menu for children to enjoy Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve dinners. Starters include Joselito ham croquettes, suckling pig, and Idiazabal cheese fritters; while the main courses feature chicken cannelloni with gratinéed béchamel sauce and veal tenderloin escalopes with potatoes and rosemary. Dessert is a Jijona nougat fondant with vanilla ice cream.
