Joaquim Clos presents the new phase with Omakase, gluten-free options, and a lunch menu.
“Os-kuro may be the most atypical Japanese restaurant in Barcelona; here, there’s no fusion, only tradition,” Clos explains.

Os-kuro, the Japanese restaurant that defies expectations, celebrates its second anniversary with a new menu featuring seasonal products, innovative dishes, and new creations by Executive Chef Pedro Salillas. This new offering includes an Omakase menu, a Japanese culinary tradition where diners are guided by the chef.
The new menu features seasonal dishes designed to transport you to authentic Japanese cuisine. Among these are Pop Sunamono, a reinterpretation of typical Japanese tavern salads; Gyudon, a traditional dish consisting of rice and beef, confit bacon, and pak choi kimchi; and Duck, turnips, and citrus sauce.
Joaquim Clos's personal project, launched two years ago, aims to offer traditional Japanese cuisine, served by a team of professionals who admire and respect Japanese cooking. The Os-kuro team is a melting pot of nationalities, united by a common goal: to offer authentic Japanese cuisine, true to tradition and made with the finest ingredients.
The restaurant boasts a carefully curated sake list with a selection of up to nine varieties, introducing diners to the world of this fascinating and unique beverage. Sake pairing is a crucial element of the Os-kuro experience, where a specialized sommelier guides diners through a simple yet delightful tasting journey.
The new menu will include gluten-free options, positioning Os-kuro as a leading gluten-free choice in Barcelona, catering to the growing demand from celiac customers seeking safe and diverse Japanese restaurants.
