Barcelona’s pioneering rooftop welcomes spring with a new menu.

La Terrassa del Claris, the rooftop at Claris Hotel & Spa GL, kicks off the new season with a refreshed menu created by chef Pedro Salillas and a cultural programme that will turn its evenings into a meeting point for lovers of gastronomy and live music.
The new gastronomic offering continues to champion seasonal cuisine, locally sourced produce and sustainability, with dishes that showcase local ingredients and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. Highlights of the new menu include rock fish and red mullet suquet with glazed shallots, langoustine carpaccio with smoked sobrasada and citrus and, as a sweet finale, Origins of Chocolate. These desserts are inspired by the collection at the Museum of World Cultures at Hotel Claris and take guests on a journey through five distinct cacao origins from different regions of Latin America, including Ecuador, Venezuela and Brazil, among others, explored through a variety of textures and preparations.
To mark the start of the season, La Terrassa del Claris is also expanding its leisure offering with a programme of live performances and a cocktail created in tribute to the Grand Départ of the Tour de France from Barcelona. Inspired by this major cycling event, this special creation joins the rooftop’s new seasonal offerings.
Every Thursday at 7 pm until the end of the season, the venue will host magic performances by Joana Andreu, one of the regular highlights of the seasonal programme.
Music will take centre stage on Fridays and Saturdays at 9 pm, with performances by singer-songwriter Yara Beilinson, who will present live jazz sessions to accompany summer evenings on the terrace.
